I know that Good Friday was a couple of weeks ago, but I figured why not talk about why we call Good Friday “good.” I will say I found out things I didn’t realize in looking into this topic after one of the men at the St. Pete Dream Center’s Table Talk prayer breakfast asked the same question back on Good Friday.

I will be presenting the concept of Good Friday this month in two different ways. First for the history week we will look at why we call it Good Friday. Then with the Bible Study I will be looking at a deep and probably philosophical reason why Good Friday had to happen in the first place.
