Today I decide to take a look at someone that as far as musical circles go is known more for being a Southern Gospel writer than a hymn writer. Although what is probably considered his most popular song is found in a number of hymnals and is popular among Baptists and Pentecostals. The person I am talking about is the writer of “I’ll Fly Away,” Albert E. Brumley.
