Augustine of Hippo

This week I look at the life of Augustine of Hippo or better known as Saint Augustine. This was probably one of the people in church history that God working in their life is very apparent. It was just by a set of circumstances that Augustine became priest and later bishop in Hippo. He also attributed his conversion to a divine command to “Take up and read.” The one thing is without Augustine’s teachings and writings I am not sure how the Protestant Reformation would have looked as many of the reformers were influenced by Augustine’s theology.

Here are the main sites I used when researching about Augustine.
